Taxonomy
Paracuariceras was named by Schindewolf (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: J Call-l J Call-m Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Paracuariceras incisum.

It was assigned to Parapatoceratinae by Schlegelmilch (1985); and to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002).
