Taxonomy
Paraplicatifera thaica was named by Sone et al. (2009). Its type specimen is UKM-F575, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wat Khao Wong KW1, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal wackestone in Thailand.
