Disc integument dorsally and ventrally (interradii) with irregularly spaced spines on papillate surface. Ambulacrals with short leg and longer foot to boot in ventral view. Adambulacrals with 6 or 7 curved, spatulate, ventral (or oral) spines, with 2 or 3 strong, straight, circular-sectionned lateral (vertical) spines. Madreporite large, circular, with slit-like aperture adjacent and parallel to amrgin for about 3/4 circumference.|
