Huaxiapterus jii
Taxonomy
Huaxiapterus jii was named by Lü and Yuan (2005). Its type specimen is GMN-03-11-001, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaoyang pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in an Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Sinopterus jii by Kellner and Campos (2007); it was synonymized subjectively with Sinopterus dongi by Wang and Dong (2008) and Zhou and Wang (2010).
