Kinkonychelys rogersi

Taxonomy
Kinkonychelys rogersi was named by Gaffney et al. (2009). Its type specimen is University of Antananarivo 9748, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MAD07-25, Lac Kinkony Study Area, which is in a Maastrichtian delta plain claystone/sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Kinkonychelys.
