Taxonomy
Parnassomeandra diacantoniae was named by Morycowa and Marcopoulou-Diacantoni (2002). Its type locality is Agrostylia, Parnassos, which is in an Albian open shallow subtidal limestone in Greece.

It was recombined as Tortoflabellum diacantoniae by Baron-Szabo (2009).
