Promyliobatis gazolai
Taxonomy
Myliobatis gazolai was named by de Zigno (1885). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Bolca (Canossa collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Italy.
It was recombined as Promyliobatis gazolae by Jaekel (1894), Carnevale et al. (2014) and Marramà et al. (2018); it was recombined as Promyliobatis gazolai by Marramà et al. (2019).
