Taxonomy
Trochammina indica was named by Govindan and Bhandari (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kalol #A well [Kalol Fm], which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian marine sandstone/shale in the Kalol Formation of India.
