Tethybatis selachoides

Taxonomy
Tethybatis selachoides was named by de Carvalho (2004). Its type specimen is MCSNV 515, 516, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava, near Castello, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian carbonate carbonate in Italy. It is the type species of Tethybatis.
