Raptorex kriegsteini

Taxonomy
Raptorex kriegsteini was named by Sereno et al. (2009). Its type specimen is LH PV18, a skeleton (partially articulated skeleton with most of the skull and postcranial skeleton lacking portions of the forelimb and the distal one-half of the tail), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raptorex type locality, which is in a Barremian/Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in China. It is the type species of Raptorex.
