Eumetabolodon bathycephalus

Taxonomy
Eumetabolodon bathycephalus was named by Li (1983). Its type specimen is IVPP V6064, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhuengeerqi (upper He-Shang-Gou Formation), which is in an Olenekian/Anisian terrestrial sandstone in the Heshanggou Formation of China. It is the type species of Eumetabolodon.
