Borodinopristis schwimmeri

Taxonomy
Borodinopristis schwimmeri was named by Case (1987). Its type specimen is AMNH 12136, an other (rostral spine), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hannahatchee Creek, unit 3, which is in a Santonian/Campanian estuary/bay sandstone in the Blufftown Formation of Georgia. It is the type species of Borodinopristis.
