Taxonomy
Sclerorhynchus solomonis was named by Hay (1903). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (Day collection, AMNH), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon.

It was recombined as Micropristis solominis by Cappetta (1980), Cappetta (1987) and Suárez and Cappetta (2004).
