Pseudohypolophus mcnultyi
Taxonomy
Hypolophus mcnultyi was named by Thurmond (1971). Its type specimen is SMU 62208, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glass Local Fauna, which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Paluxy Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Pseudohypolophus mcnultyi by Cappetta and Case (1975), Cappetta (1987), Kriwet (1999), Cappetta and Case (1999), Cook et al. (2008), Hoganson et al. (2019) and Maisch et al. (2021).
