Axosmilia hideshimaensis

Taxonomy
Pleurosmilia hideshimaensis was named by Eguchi (1951). Its type locality is Hideshima, Sakiyama-mura, Hiraiga Sandstone, which is in an Aptian perireef or subreef sandstone in the Hiraiga Sandstone Formation of Japan.

It was recombined as Axosmilia hideshimaensis by Kiessling (2008).
