Taxonomy
Conocyathus felixi was named by Filkorn (1994). Its type locality is Seymour Island I,, which is in a Maastrichtian estuary/bay sandstone/siltstone in the López de Bertodano Formation of Antarctica.
It was recombined as Alveolocyathus felixi by Baron-Szabo (2008).
