Titanopodus mendozensis

Taxonomy
Titanopodus mendozensis was named by González Riga and Calvo (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is AC-1, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Agua del Choique tracksite (Loncoche, upper) (Lo-3), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian delta plain sandstone/limestone in the Loncoche Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Titanopodus.
