Evander 2016Small species; smaller than all other species except P. soricinoides (Blainville, 1838) and P. martinii Engesser and Storch, 2008; reduced number of premolars (four alveoli between i2 and p4 on the dentary and four alveoli between I1 and P3 in the maxilla); mental foramina on dentary below p3 and low on the dentary be- low anterior root of m1.
