Ptychodus mahakalensis

Taxonomy
Ptychodus mahakalensis was named by Chiplonkar and Ghare (1977). Its type specimen is Bd t/1, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mahakal, which is in a Cretaceous marine shale in the Nimar Formation of India.
