Buckhornia carteri
Taxonomy
Buckhornia carteri was named by Yancey and Heaney (2000). Its type locality is Buckhorn Asphalt Quarry, which is in a Desmoinesian coastal mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Boggy Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Buckhornia.
