Massamorichthys wilsoni

Taxonomy
Massamorichthys wilsoni was named by Murray (1996). Its type specimen is UALVP 30842 a and b, part and counterpart, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Joffre Bridge Road Cut Fish Layer, which is in a Tiffanian/Paleocene channel mudstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Massamorichthys.
