Gingerich 2000Derived tornistomine crocodylian differing from all other tomistomines (includ- ing i? cairense from the underlying Mokattam Formation) in having a skull table that slopes later- ally from the midline, acute rims on the supratemporal fenestrae, and laterosphenoid capitate pro- cesses with anterodorsal margins perpendicular to the sagittal plane.
