Batequeus mezquitalensis

Taxonomy
Batequeus mezquitalensis was named by Squires and Demetrion (1990). Its type specimen is IGM 5058, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 1293 [Bateque Fm], which is in a Lutetian offshore mudstone in the Bateque Formation of Mexico.
