Anthracokeryx tenuis

Taxonomy
Anthracokeryx tenuis was named by Pilgrim and Cotter (1916). Its type specimen is GSI B625 and GSI B626 (left maxillary fragment with M1-2 and left mandibular fragment with M1 and posterior part of dP4) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pakokku District, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.

It was recombined as Anthracotherium tenuis by Tsubamoto et al. (2002); it was synonymized subjectively with Anthracokeryx ulnifer by Ducrocq et al. (2015).
