Geniokeryx thailandicus
Taxonomy
Anthracokeryx thailandicus was named by Ducrocq (1999). Its type specimen is DMR TF 2638, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wai Lek pit, which is in an Eocene terrestrial lignite in the Krabi Basin B2 Formation of Thailand. It is the type species of Geniokeryx.
It was recombined as Anthracotherium thailandicus by Tsubamoto et al. (2002); it was recombined as Geniokeryx thailandicus by Ducrocq (2020).
