Taxonomy
Siderastrea vancouverensis was named by Clark and Arnold (1923) [attributred to Vaughan]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirby Creek, upstream, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Sooke Formation of Canada.
