Taxonomy
Flabellum hertleini was named by Durham (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP A1810, Willapa river, east of Holcomb, which is in a Rupelian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
