Feist et al. 2000Typische Untergattung der Gattung Typhloproetus mit folgenden Besonderheitendes Cephalons: Glabella schwach gewölbt, Occipitallobus zum Hinterrand ansteigend, lange Wangenstacheln; breite Festwangen, Suturverlauf konkav, manchmal mit geringer Palpebral-Ausbuchtung, hinten weit nach außen biegend und die Hintersaumfurche distal über-querend; relieflose Augenfläche manchmal schwach erhalten.
