Rhamphocephalus depressirostris

Taxonomy
Rhamphorhynchus depressirostris was named by Huxley (1859). Its type specimen is GSM 113723, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sarsden, Chipping Norton, which is in a Bathonian marine limestone in the Sharp's Hill Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Rhamphocephalus depressirostris by Seeley (1880).
