Taxonomy
Pseudastacus was named by Oppel (1861). It is not extant. Its type is Bolina pustulosa.

It was assigned to Chilenophoberidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010); and to Stenochiridae by Karasawa et al. (2013) and Feldmann et al. (2016).
