Aetosaurus ferratus

Taxonomy
Aetosaurus ferratus was named by Fraas (1877). Its type specimen is SMNS 5770, specimen 16, a skeleton (Nearly complete skull and skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Billert, Kaltental, which is in a Norian terrestrial sandstone in the Löwenstein Formation of Germany.
