Anatina leana was named by Conrad (1831). It is extant. It is the type species of Aperiploma.
It was recombined as Periploma leana by Spencer and Campbell (1987); it was recombined as Periploma leanum by Hendy et al. (2008); it was recombined as Aperiploma lena by Hickman (2014).
