Chiloscyllium greeni
Taxonomy
Brachaelurus greeni was named by Cappetta (1973). Its type specimen is SDK21, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SE of Hot Springs, which is in a Turonian marine sandstone in the Carlile Shale Formation of South Dakota.
It was recombined as Mesiteia greeni by Herman (1977); it was recombined as Chiloscyllium greeni by Müller and Diedrich (1991), Underwood and Mitchell (1999) and Cappetta and Case (1999).
