It was corrected as Pecten groenlandica by Richards (1962) and Richards (1962); it was recombined as Arctinula groenlandica by MacNeil (1967); it was recombined as Arctinula greenlandica by Simonarson et al. (1998); it was recombined as Delectopecten greenlandicus by Gordillo and Aitken (2000); it was recombined as Similipecten greenlandicus by Waller (2011).
