Wawelia gerholdi

Taxonomy
Wawelia gerholdi was named by Casamiquela (1963). Its type specimen is MLP 62-XII-7-1, a partial skeleton (dorsal imprint of an incomplete skeleton lacking most skull bones), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Lif-Mahuida Quarry, which is in a Langhian terrestrial diatomite in the Collón Curá Formation of Argentina.
