Sordes pilosus
Taxonomy
Sordes pilosus was named by Sharov (1971). Its type specimen is PIN 2585/3, a skeleton (Almost complete skeleton with soft tissues), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Aulie, Mikhailovka, Karatau [PIN Loc. 2585], which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Sordes.
