Eocaecilia micropodia
Taxonomy
Eocaecilia micropodia was named by Jenkins and Walsh (1993). Its type specimen is MNA V8066, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gold Spring Quarry 1 (MNA, MCZ, TMM 45609), which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian floodplain claystone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Eocaecilia.
