Chronoperates paradoxus

Taxonomy
Chronoperates paradoxus was named by Fox et al. (1992). Its type specimen is UALVP 32358, a mandible (left ddentary with three posteriormost teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Chronoperates.
