Geikia elginensis
Taxonomy
Geikia elginensis was named by Newton (1893). Its type specimen is GSM 90998-91015, a skull, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Cutties Hillock Millstone Quarry, which is in a Changhsingian fluvial sandstone in the Cutties Hillock Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Geikia.
