Taxonomy
Arca aequalitas was named by Tucker and Wilson (1932). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Anadara (Anadara) aequalitas by Olsson and Harbison (1953); it was recombined as Anadara (Caloosarca) aequalitas by Vokes (1969).
