Wukongopterus lii
Taxonomy
Wukongopterus lii was named by Wang et al. (2009). Its type specimen is IVPP V15113, a skeleton (Nearly complete skeleton), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daxishan, Linglongta, which is in a Bathonian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
