Rhombopholis scutulata

Taxonomy
Labyrinthodon scutulatus was named by Owen (1842). Its type specimen is WARMS Gz10, a set of vertebrae, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Old Leamington Quarry, which is in a Triassic terrestrial sandstone in the Bromsgrove Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Rhombopholis scutulata by Owen (1866) and Benton and Walker (1996).
