Taxonomy
Pectunculus corbuloides was named by Conrad (1833). Its type specimen is ANSP 30515, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Limopsis corbuloides by Conrad (1860); it was recombined as Trigonarca corbuloides by Cooke (1936).
