Taxonomy
Haplocrinites uzbekistanensis was named by Webster and Rakhmonov (2009). Its type specimen is KSGR 442/29, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Novikhuskh, Zeravshan Range, which is in an Eifelian marine horizon in the Khodzhakurgan Formation of Uzbekistan.
