Lucina (Miltha) caloosaensis was named by Dall (1898). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Phacoides (Miltha) caloosaensis by Dall (1903); it was recombined as Phacoides (Phacoides) caloosana by Dall (1905); it was recombined as Miltha (Miltha) caloosaensis by Vokes (1969).
