Ayllusuchus fernandezi

Taxonomy
Ayllusuchus fernandezi was named by Gasparini (1984). Its type specimen is M.L.P. 72-IV-4-2, a partial skull (snout and posterior part of skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Confluence of the Laguna and Casa Grande Rivers, Mina Aguilar, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Ayllusuchus.
