Hongshanopterus lacustris

Taxonomy
Hongshanopterus lacustris was named by Wang et al. (2008). Its type specimen is IVPP V14582, a skull (Skull and five cervical vertebrae), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
