Oliva (Oliva) waltoniana
Taxonomy
Oliva liodes waltoniana was named by Gardner (1937). Its type specimen is USNM 351282, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 69A, Shell Bluff [Shoal River Fm], which is in a Serravallian marine sandstone/siliciclastic in the Shoal River Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Oliva (Oliva) waltoniana by Drez (1981).
