Torquifer pittorum

Taxonomy
Torquifer pittorum was named by Roth (1981). Its type specimen is CAS 60375, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CASG Loc. 58335 - Isla Payardi [middle Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama. It is the type species of Torquifer.
