Dhondtichlamys delawarensis
Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) delawarensis was named by Richards and Harbison (1944). Its type specimen is NJSM 10682, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brandywine Lighthouse well, 825 ft, which is in an Eocene coastal siltstone in New Jersey.
It was recombined as Dhondtichlamys delawarensis by Hendy et al. (2008).
